ދިވެހިރާއްޖެ އިން ކޮމަންވެލްތުގައި ބައިވެރުވުމަށް މި ހަފްތާގައި ހުށަހަޅުއްވާނެ ކަމަށް ފޮރިން މިނިސްޓަރ ޢަބްދުﷲ ޝާހިދް ވިދާޅުވެއްޖެއެވެ. ކޮމަންވެލްތުގައި ބައިވެރިވުމަށް ވަޒީރުންގެ މަޖިޅިހުްނ ނިންމެވި ނިންމެވުން ރައްޔިތުންގެ މަޖިލީހުން މިއަދު ފާސްކުރެއްވުމާއި ގުޅިގެން ފޮރިން މިނސްޓަރ މިއަދު ކުރެއްވި ޓުވީޓެއްގައި ވިދާޅުވީ ކޮމަންވެލއތުގައި ބައިވެރިވުމަށް ކޮމަންވެލްތ ސެކްރެޓޭރިއެޓްގައި މި ހަފްތާގައި އެދިވަޑައިގަންނަވާނެ ކަމަށެވެ.
އަދި ކޮމަންވެލްތްގެ ގައުމުތަކާއި ރަސްމީކޮށް ގުޅުން ގާއިމުކުރުމަށް އުއްމީދު ކުރައްވާ ކަމަށެވެ.
The Maldives Parliament has approved the Cabinet decision to rejoin the Commonwealth. We will submit the intention of Maldives to rejoin the Commonwealth to their Secretariat this week. We look forward to formally rejoining the family of Commonwealth nations.
